Dorothy Batenegi Mabuza is a distinguished leader in infrastructure and governance, bringing over 27 years of expertise across water, transportation, and public sector development. In her previous capacities as Executive Director of Transport for the City of Johannesburg and Head of the Integrated Rapid Public Transport Network for the City of Ekurhuleni, Ms. Mabuza drove the advancement of significant transportation initiatives. She played a central role in launching Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, notably the Rea Vaya and Harambee projects, which have contributed substantially to the transformation of public transport in these regions.
